Ref: and the pic: Apurva Agnihotri and his hose

Was looking at this shoot from Vanity Fair a few years ago and kept thinking... where have I seen it before?! 

Then remembered this hot shoot Apurva did... and we clearly see the reference. If not the abs... ;0)

Randomly searched and found Apurva on Instagram. Still cute. and relatively fit. 

He made his acting debut in the 1997 blockbuster Pardes, directed by Subhash Ghai and starring Shah Rukh Khan and Mahima Chaudhry. In the film, he played the role of Rajiv Lal, earning a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the Zee Cine Awards - he was a hot NRI villain in the movie if you remember... Great songs and as always amazing Shahrukh, Subash Ghai was still in fine form... before he lost the plot!  The movie's success marked a promising start, but Apurva didn't get much credit for it... his subsequent Bollywood film career remained relatively modest.... ie one too many flops.

However, he may not have become the next Khan - which is near impossible in Mumbai, its like winning the lottery... but e transitioned successfully to television and gained significant popularity for his role as Armaan Suri in the hit Sony TV series Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin (2003–2006), which became one of his most memorable performances. 

Over the years, Agnihotri appeared in various TV shows, including Nach Baliye 1 (as a contestant), Meri Durga, Bepannaah, and Anupamaa (as Dr. Advait Khanna in 2021). He has also participated in reality TV, such as Bigg Boss.

In his personal life, he has been married to actress Shilpa Saklani since June 8, 2004.As of 2025–2026, he returned to television with the Colors TV show Seher Hone Ko Hai (also referred to as Seher – Hone Ko Hai), playing the role of Dr. Fareed Quadri (or Dr. Farid), a dignified doctor with personal struggles.

Sucess as a working actor looks different for different people. He's still a jobbing actor, still looks pretty decent.. he was just 24 when he started working on films and he's 53 now and still working. That's what success looks like.
