Emraan Hashmi brought the French kiss to Bollywood - well, lip to lip kissing was the rage since Aamir Khan in QSQT but Hashmi made it hotter with his raw sexual energy.
Murder was a good thriller that got lost in all the steamy scenes. Mallika gave the most controversial and stupid quotes - and today calls herself a legend on podcasts - mostly cause no one else does.
The music was a massive hit, the film was a good one - it was a combination that made it work. She took far too much credit - and when all her other films started tanking, recognised that its not all about her. A movie is not about a singular star but a collective; great music, story, cast, direction, writing...
Emraan also gave retarded interviews that didn't end up serving him well. But the gareebon ka Hrithik - his fan following among the front benchers is second to none--is still a successful working actor. He is still around while others from 2004 had disappeared. He's a surprisingly good actor and an underrated one. Short king - we saw him on a shoot. Man is tiny, despite his giant ego.
I remember watching the film and thinking Ashmit Patel has a better body, height and looks, why would she leave him to fool around with Hashmi? But Emraan has this indescribably raw earthy sex appeal... ya know he just does it dirty and good.
Now he does mostly boring serious films - we need that Adult-certificate thriller romp-com (not rom com) back.
