There is no doubt in my mind, there are so many dostanas behind the scenes of Diet Sabya - cause they just get it.
Launched in March 2018 as an anonymous Instagram account, Diet Sabya initially set out to do one thing: call out blatant plagiarism in the Indian fashion industry using its signature hashtag, #GandiCopy. Inspired by the global watchdog Diet Prada, the account quickly became a nightmare for copying designers and a champion for original artists.
Over the past few years, Diet Sabya’s influence grew far beyond calling out knockoffs. Its biggest victory came in 2020 when it led a fierce crusade against the "Fat Tax"—calling out top Indian couture brands charging extra for plus-size garments, forcing many to abandon the practice. It also exposed toxic workplace culture across fashion labels and PR agencies.
Diet Sabya reached its peak attention during these social crusades and later during its transition into India’s premier pop-culture commentator. During major events—like the Met Gala, Cannes, or high-profile celebrity weddings—its Instagram Stories draw massive engagement, turning red-carpet breakdowns and insider gossip into viral fodder.
So, who runs it? While official ownership remains shrouded in anonymity, industry insiders strongly associate the account with Santu Misra, co-founder of the agency Creative Co., with writer Aishwarya Subramanyam (Otherwarya) also heavily linked to its distinct tone during its peak commentary era.
Despite its success, Diet Sabya isn't without controversy. Critics often accuse the account of shifting from an unbiased watchdog to a celebrity PR machine, calling out favoritism toward certain Bollywood stars while harshly critiquing smaller influencers.
Today, with over 500,000 followers, Diet Sabya averages thousands of likes per post and massive daily story views. Love it or hate it, it remains the ultimate digital arbiter of style,
Hot, sweaty, sexy Duggu...
Hrithik Roshan being beautiful.
btw... I think all these images are ai generated and fake... so headsup
I don't know what the future of SBM is after 20+ years ... I really hate fake iamges.. the trickery of it.... and now with ai getting better and better (and the enshitification of many apps), when you can't tell which image is real and which is fake... its a distressing time for ... the truth.
