Rizwan Ahmed was born on 1 December 1982 in Wembley, in the London borough of Brent, to a British Pakistani family. His parents moved to England from Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, during the 1970s. 

For the South of Metal, he is the first Muslim, brown (HOT) young man to get a full Oscar nomination for Best Actor.  Congrats dood. 

Also - for that HOT bod. He was an ok bod, interesting looking fella - then he totally Brad Pitt'ed himself up for this role.
