Who did it best? Wet briefs: Actors take it all off... nearly!

Italian actor, model, and singer (!) Michele Morrone experienced one of the most drastic overnight rise-to-fame stories in modern pop culture.

Prior to his breakthrough, Morrone faced intense personal hardship. Following a painful 2018 divorce, he suffered severe depression, nearly quit acting, and was forced to work as a gardener in a small northern Italian village to make ends meet.

Everything changed in June 2020 when the Polish erotic thriller 365 Days hit Netflix globally. Cast as the brooding Sicilian mafia boss Massimo Torricelli, Morrone’s dark features and intense screen presence immediately captured global attention. The film became a viral streaming sensation, causing Morrone’s Instagram following to explode overnight from a few hundred thousand to millions.

Capitalizing on his sudden international stardom, Morrone expanded into music - releasing his debut album Dark Room, which featured prominently on the film’s soundtrack - and landed high-profile modeling campaigns. After starring in two 365 Days sequels, he successfully transitioned to mainstream Hollywood features, appearing in projects alongside actors like Megan Fox, Blake Lively, and Sydney Sweeney.

Understanding that nothing sells like sex, he's leaned in on his sizzling sexuality; he has appeared naked in almost all his films. He's often posing topless on his social media, in briefs and less. He appeared in various states of undress in a book by D&G - including full frontal nude shower shots. He understands that looking fit, good, sexy has worked in his favour despite his limitations as an actor and singer - he can cash in on his raw sex appeal, travel the world on someone else's dime.  

There are several Indian 'actors' we feel can try and repeat this very successful formula. Cash in on looks, not thier acting. eg all the male models who now try films. Dino Morea, Milind Soman (he's ok, but mostly monotone), Arjun Rampal (he's sooo mediocre as an actor - why does no one else see it?!), Zayed Khan (the worst actor - but kinda hot), Ibrahim, Muzamil Ibrahim! etc etc  Defo many of the TV hunks trying to make it in films - no beta. you are famous and well known and gym fit, but the talent is usually lacking...
