Salman Khan's the hot, buff, almost always shirtless one. Shahrukh is the sexy one for... I don't know why...

Aamir has always been the cute one.

Sooraj and Aditya Pancholi: Hotties

Well, he's been given more than enough opportunities, but we just don't see sexy Sooraj Pancholi recovering from... well, google his history. In his redemption journey, there are too many sinking potholes beyond recovery. In the court of public opinion where he has been found guilty, whether its true or not, his career in movies seems to be beyond repair we are sorry to say.

Weirdly, in a way he's paying for the sins of his father. The notoriously cantankerous Aditya Pancholi - who was one of the best-looking young men who entered the Hindi film industry in the early 1980s. Long before Hrithik Roshan, there was Aditya, light eyed, light skinned, deep voice, so sexy... but but but... tempers, scandals, affairs, threats, fights... he was in the tabloids for all the wrong reasons for years and years. And after that viral clip of him fighting with his neigbours hit YouTube. Well... he's gone silent.

Young Sooraj got a golden entry to Bollywood via Salman Khan but... well, the newspaper headlines that year, there is no road to recovery. Hot men, hot tempers. hot bodies but hotter scandals.

A chronological list of Sooraj Pancholi's feature films as a lead actor.

• Hero (2015) — Flop/Almost-break even (Worldwide collections around ₹34–49 crore on a ₹36 crore budget; considered a commercial disappointment despite some initial buzz.)
• Satellite Shankar (2019) — Flop (Very low collections, around ₹0.5–1 crore net in India; poor performance though the movie wasn't that bad.)
• Time to Dance (2021) — Flop (Direct-to-digital/OTT release during COVID; negligible theatrical impact, widely regarded as unsuccessful, universally panned as a bad, I mean really bad film)
• Kesari Veer (2025) — Flop (Reportedly made on a high budget ~₹60 crore but earned only around ₹25 crore globally; underperformed at the box office.)

He's a cute guy with an amazing body but... so does every newcomer have that in spades.

Note: Sooraj Pancholi has had a limited filmography with only these four major theatrical/lead roles to date (as of February 2026). According to media reports, he has assisted on films earlier (e.g., Ek Tha Tiger, Guzaarish) but did not act in them. Classifications relative to budget, expectations, and earnings are the above anaylysis—none of his films have been classified as outright hits or blockbusters.

On the other hand, despite innumerable scandals, Aditya delivered hits throughout the 90s, his top five films include

Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri (1990) — Hit (One of the highest-grossing films of the year; comedy and commercial success in an ensemble cast.)

Aatish: Feel the Fire (1994) — Hit (One of the highest-grossing films of its year; strong supporting role in what was essentially a Sanjay Dutt-led film.)

Baazi (1995) — Hit/Success (Noted as a commercial success; action-drama with Govinda during his unshakable phase. Now of course, the same cannot be said for Govinda either.)

Saathi (1991) — Hit (His biggest commercial success as a lead actor; Mahesh Bhatt-directed romantic drama with fab music.)

Yes Boss (1997) — Hit (Major success; earned him a Filmfare nomination for Best Performance in a Negative Role as the antagonist, but this Shahrukh Khan film benefitted all in it.)

The industry will forgive you everything as long as you deliver box-office. Its "show" "business". As a jobbing actor, Aditya worked for nearly 40 years, from TV to film. He may not have led films like Aatish or Yes Boss, but he was part of huge hits. And thats all people and producers remember! Sooraj can't say the same. Only a miracle can do wonders for him - the audience has short memory, all he has to do is deliver a hit. Easier said than done...
