Yasss! We celebrate the success of Fardeen Khan. yasss hunty yasss!
Now hear me out; Fardeen Khan is one of the nicest men in the Indian film industry - and he knows he comes from privilege and is a beneficiary of nepotism - and Indian fraternity goodwill. The love the industry had for Feroz Khan spills over to this kid too.
HOWEVER - he is easily one of the worst actors in the history of Indian cinema - in our opinion. His performance in Prem Aggan is so bad, soooo bad, we have died laughing watching it as a comedy.
Pretentious Movie Reviews did a whole bit on the film which is amazing. And we've died laughing watching it. AND shock horror gasp - the fact that Filmfare gave him a Best Newcomer Award intrinsically shows the systematic corruption of Bollywood media where awards are up for grabs wholesale. It has been brought up several times by all stars and we just roll along with it.
BUT he was kinda hot and he's such a good boy next door that we can't fault him for that. There are tonnes of mediocre actors in the Indian film industry who are far worse people so we wish him well. At least Fardeen's a nice guy.
All that is fine. But he was never sexy.
