For me, it looks heavily influenced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani / Padmavaat. Just like Panipat, Tanhaji and even Kalank - haven't watched any of them btw. Bollywood films really need to step up imo. I love the sexy men but the storytelling needs to improve a lot.
